DRUBEC - 14130
Drubec is today crossed by the speed way and the national road which both link Rouen and Caen. By its localisation, Drubec always has got a strategic situation.
Thus, behind the church of Saint Germain which the octagonal belfry is built with stones from Caen, there is a feudal motte where we can see the sea. During the Middle Age, this elevation enables people to lie in wait for enemies.
Lastly, the painter Edouard Krug (1829-1901) and its famous portraits made this commune more and more famous. We can today admire several of his painting in Beaumont en Auge and in Honfleur.
