The commune of saint Philbert des Champs is near Blangy le Château and the Breuil en Auge.
Saint Philbert founded the Jumieges’ abbey (in Seine Maritime) in the 7th century.
In 1670, Francoise de Mire extended the parish of Saint Philbert des Champs with the fief and seigniory of the Bechet.
At the 17th century, Saint Philbert des Champs is a hamlet of 173 homes, in other words 885 inhabitants. The commune is fastened to Blangy le Château in 1790.
Today, Saint Philbert des Champs spreads out small scale productions and tourism.

The church of Saint-Philbert-des-Champs was built in the 11th century for the most ancient part during the Romanesque time.
At that time there was a nave and a chancel inside of It.
A tower was add in the 13th century and a chapel in the 15th century.
That chapel is probably the most amazing with its flamboyant windows and Its walls make of stones and flint.
The staircase was built to join the bells.
The brick part and the spire date from the 18th century.
Stained glass windows in the choir are from the end of the 19th century, they are in painted glass.
Two stained glass windows represent on left Saint Philbert and on right Saint Sebastian.
Inside the chapel all the stained glass windows are from 1904.
The furniture : a wooden lectern (end of the 17th century).
The charity brotherhood the banners (end of the 19th century).
Statues : St Philbert and St Sebastian (18th century), a Virgin (15th and 16th centuries).

Starting point in front of the church, markers blue, go close to the farm on left.
