BLONVILLE - 14910
Blonville owes its opening-up to the introduction of the railway connecting between them the principal cities of the area, which allowed its supply in bovines, and the arrival of the tourists.
Indeed, it is with the launching of the mode of the sea bathings that the borough of Blonville sur Mer (called Blonville Terre) has been developed.
We find the augeronne architectural tradition with the rectangular bell-tower of the Notre Dame church of the Visitation, with half-timberings of the manor de la cour Hommet and with the villas bordering the sea.
Lastly, the chapel of the Assumption is famous in the Pays d’Auge for the fresco of the Assumption preserved in its center.
